|
|
Hi,
I have recently got a new PC, and noted that my default uname is User, ie, the Documents folder is located at:
C:\Users\User\Documents
I am aware that where User is usually my own name. Is it still possible for me to change this without having to re-install Windows Vista Home Premium and without having any impact on the location of all existing files on my PC?
Thanks
Greg.

Hi,
Thanks for the link, however this does not give me the option to change the uname of User. My personal name is shown as the current user with administrator rights, however. I am unable to have my name showing as a user, the only name shown in C:\Users is
Public
User
I want to know how to change User into my own name.
Thanks
Greg.
